It is with great sadness that we inform you that Barbara Dewick passed away on 10 August after a short illness. Barbara was a very active and cherished member of the AJS and passionate about Jordan, having lived there for 4 years in the 1980s.
She made lifelong friends during her time and, after returning to the UK, visited Jordan many times. Her most recent holiday was in 2018, and she had been planning to return last October. Unfortunately, that trip had to be cancelled.
Barbara had been supporting our Crutches for Kindness campaign and one of her last wishes to her children was to ensure the 3 collection dates go ahead in September.
We hope to honour her legacy; we will miss you, Barbara.
