Before joining 100 Resilient Cities/Rockefeller Foundation as Associate Director for Europe and the Middle East out of their London office, Samer worked in academia and in the private, public and voluntary sectors across Europe and the Middle East. Most recently, Samer led graduate urban planning education at the University of Brighton in England and was Professor of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Jordan. He is a Trustee of the UK’s oldest town planning charity, the Town and Country Planning Association.
