This specially organised tour is a rare chance to hear about the work Kew botanists have been doing in Jordan and to look behind the scenes at how plant collections and seeds are kept and utilised. It includes presentations by Dr Shahina Ghazanfar, who’s worked on several research project in the Kingdom and Dr John Dickie (or Dr Michiel van Slageren), renowned seed specialists. These will be followed by lunch in the beautiful Orangery and by tours of the herbarium and Jodrell Laboratory. Numbers are limited to 20 people on a first come first served basis. Lunch is not included.

Tour starts at 11:30am at Kew Gardens Reception and will finish around 3:00pm.
