Mozart Piano Sonata no.4 in E flat K.282 Schubert 3 Klavierstücke D.946 Khachaturian Piano Sonata (1961)
The Jordanian Palestinian pianist Iyad Sughayer began learning the piano at the age of five. His first teacher was Mohammad Sidiq in Amman and he performed his first concerto there when he was eight. In 2008 he began piano studies at Chetham’s School of Music in the UK. He has subsequently won many prizes and awards. Since 2012 Iyad has studied at the Royal Northern College of Music with the distinguished pianist Murray McLachlan. In 2016 Iyad will begin his Master’s degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. He has given many recitals and concerts across the Middle East and in the UK. Future engagements include recitals and concerto appearances in the UK, Germany, Jordan, Palestine and the UAE including performances of Khachaturian’s Piano Concerto with the RNCM Symphony Orchestra and his German debut recital in Hamburg.
