COUNCIL FOR BRITISH RESEARCH IN THE LEVANT:

 

This year the AGM lecture was given by Dr Matthew Jones, Associate Professor in Quaternary Science in the School of Geography at the University of Nottingham, on ‘People and their environment: 20,000 years of impacts, adaptation and vulnerability in the Eastern Levant’.

The lecture was followed by an informal drinks reception. Attendance is free.

Both the AGM and the lecture were held in the Kohn Centre at the Royal Society, 6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1Y 5AG on Thursday 17th  December 2015.  The Royal Society is just a few doors down from the British Academy on Carlton House Terrace.
