The Society was established to advance understanding and friendship between the United Kingdom (UK) of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Jordan. The Society aims to provide relief of need, hardship and distress in Jordan and, in exceptional circumstances in association with Jordanian charitable societies, in the countries of the wider Levant.

The Anglo Jordanian Society (AJS) is a UK-registered Charity that aims to advance understanding and friendship between the United Kingdom and Jordan to relieve need, hardship and distress in Jordan. The AJS has far reaching associations with Jordanian charitable societies, in the countries of the wider Levant. It has contributed over £180,000 to such charities in the years since 2009, with many projects in the pipeline.

The AJS organises functions throughout the year to raise funds for charities. Every two years it holds a dinner that is normally attended by the patrons of the AJS, HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal, HRH Princess Sarvath and HRH the Duke of Kent. At a time of well-documented political and humanitarian uncertainty and suffering in this region, we urge you to donate to the Anglo Jordanian Society, in order to help us to continue investing in the well-being of thousands of adults and children.  Anyone wishing to work with the AJS on a future charitable collaboration should Contact Us
