Mostafa Salameh, Jordanian mountaineer, religious speaker and activist, will be giving a talk and book signing for his autobiography Dreams of a Refugee  at the Jordanian Embassy, London, on Thursday April 28th. The event will be open to anyone who books a place, and will begin at 18.00.

Mostafa was born in a refugee camp, and is of Palestinian/Jordanian origin. He worked in Jordan and then the United Kingdom, and it was in Scotland that he first had a dream that led him to climb Mount Everest, the 6 highest peaks across the world’s continents, and reach the North and South Poles. His book Dreams of a Refugee is also about his deep Muslim faith and view of the world, including religious spirituality, the rise of Muslim fundamentalism, the actions of Islamic State and the Israel/Palestine conflict. As anyone who has met Mostafa will attest to, he is a hugely charismatic individual with an amazing story to tell, and so we predict this to be an exciting and interesting evening.
