Last night saw a successful and inspiring opening night of I AM; a strategic visual art exhibition celebrating the rich, diverse and pivotal contribution that Middle Eastern women make to the enduring global quest for harmony and peace, and featuring the work of 31 premier Middle Eastern female contemporary artists.

Last night's opening event, sponsored by the Jordan Tourism Board, took place at St Martin-in the-Fields in Trafalgar Square and featured an update from  JTB representatives and Jordanian Ambassador His Excellency Mr Mazen Homoud, as well as an address from Ms Vanessa Branson and beautiful Jordanian musical entertainment.  Nearly 400 guests attended, and all left feeling inspired and uplifted by the positive messages and themes promoted throughout the exhibit.

The exhibition is now open to the public in London, having begun it's life on 3rd May in Amman, Jordan. It will run until 20th August in London before travelling on to finish in Washington DC. The exhibition aims to challenge negative perceptions of women in the region, promoting and celebrating their many accomplishments in shaping our world into a harmonious and peaceful one.
